About Me
Hello! I’m Delaney. I am a biomedical artist specializing in illustration, 3D and 2D animation, and 3D modeling, whose strength lies in my ability to synthesize complex information in a beautiful, unique way.
I have BFA in Scientific Illustration from the University of Georgia and, in May 2022, I will graduate with my Master of Science from the accredited Biomedical Visualization program at the University of Illinois, Chicago. I am also currently working as a medical illustration intern with the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). My publications include two JAMA patient education pages, a JAMA Medical News article illustration, the cover illustration for the December 2021 issue of The American Journal of Bioethics, and the cover illustration for the February 2022 issue of The Anatomical Record. You can find links to my publications in my linktree.
Through my extensive training and variety of experiences, I have honed my ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, research thoroughly, utilize best practices, and collaborate with professionals to produce high quality work that captures the minds of my audience and accurately represents my subjects. With a background in fine art, I am very detail-oriented and have always strived to create realism in my work. However, I also love to explore different mediums and styles. This has allowed me to form the ability to learn new programs, develop new skills and techniques, and experiment with unique styles quickly and comfortably, creating a diverse body of work. I love being a part of a field where I can continuously expand my horizons.
